We read the price the store itself publishes
For Shopify stores we read the product data the store publishes for its own pages. It is the most accurate source: exact price, compare-at price and whether the piece is in stock.
If that is not available, we read the page's structured data
Most other fashion storefronts describe each product to search engines in a standard format (JSON-LD and OpenGraph tags). We read that instead. Two sources, tried in that order, and nothing else.
We check again every day
Each tracked page is rechecked daily. Every change is saved, so you get a price history, and the morning digest tells you which competitors dropped, raised or sold out.
When a site says no
Some stores put a bot check in front of their pages. We respect that. We do not try to get around a bot check, so a page behind one, or with no readable product data, is marked “Can't read this page” and shown to you in your list. Pages marked this way never count toward your URL limit, so you only use your plan on prices we can actually deliver.
